Meet our Doctors
Faris Ohan, O.D.
Dr. Ohan graduated valedictorian of his class from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He was certified by the Texas Board of Optometry as a Therapeutic Optometrist and National Board of Examiners in Optometry in 2004. He obtained the Glaucoma Specialty Certification through University of Houston College of Optometry in 2004.
Dr Ohan have been practicing in Rosenberg as an associate with Dr. Larry Wilkinson and practiced at Christus St. Catherine Hospital as an associate with Dr. Fernando Romero in Katy. Dr. Ohan has extensive experience working with children in the family practice in Rosenberg and Pediatric Ophthalmology clinic in Katy. Dr. Ohan believes in providing excellent eye care and practices evidence based eye care. His knowledge of optics will assure that you will see the clearest possible and his knowledge of eye health will assure that you maintain your good vision for life. He appreciates you trusting him with your eyes.
Mary E. Bumgarner, O.D.
Dr. Mary E. Bumgarner has practiced at Exceptional Eye Care since 2012. Previously, she practiced at her own office–Family Eye Care Clinic in Lumberton, Texas. Mary graduated from Lamar University, Beaumont, TX in 1993 with a B.S. in Biology. Shortly thereafter, she became certified to teach secondary sciences–which she did for four years. Dr. Bumgarner graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2003 with a Doctorate of Optometry degree. She obtained Optometric Glaucoma Certification in October 2005. When not working, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband and two preschoolers. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, gardening and reading.
